VINCI Construction UK has announced a major appointment at its north west regional office.

Garry Bowker joins the regional office as director, where he will lead the firm's north west and retail region.

The former Kier regional director takes over from John Roberts, who has been promoted to regional managing director for VINCI's part of the business overseeing the north west, north east and midlands regions.

John Roberts said: "The appointment of Garry ensures we have the leadership that VINCI Construction UK requires to keep us at the forefront of the region. This appointment completes the new management structure across the north following Keith Shivers' retirement and Chris Winspear's appointment as the new regional director for the north east.
