NHS offices in Bolton are set to be refurbished under a new £650,000 project.
Triton Construction's specialist subsidiary in the North West, Remstone Construction has been appointed to deliver the project at Lever Chambers Centre for Health.
Lever Chambers is a three-storey building housing two GP practices and a pharmacy as well as a wide range of community services including dental care, orthoptics, dermatology, family planning, nutrition and speech therapy.
The project will include the reconfiguration and modernisation of public and back office spaces to improve interaction and efficiency.
Steve Bolton, Operations Director at Triton Construction in the North West said: "The building remains fully occupied during the refurbishment programme and so we are required to co-ordinate works around various business operations as well as the general public using the services. The town centre location also restricts access to the site and so there are a number of challenges. Nevertheless, we expect to complete works on time."
The Lever Chambers project is due to complete in April.
