Judges Unveiled For Inaugural UK Bathrooms Design Awards

A panel of four esteemed judges has been announced for the inaugural UK Bathrooms Design Awards.

Formed by online premium retailer UK Bathrooms, the awards are open to homeowners and professionals whether architect, interior designer or trade entry.

The expert panel of incredibly talented judges include interior design and lifestyle journalist Amy Moorea Wong, ex Features Editor of ELLE Decoration. As well as writing and commissioning editorial content for ELLE Decoration, Amy edited the inspiring bi-annual 100-page Bathroom and Kitchen guides. One of her favourite things to do is to predict and report on the season's most relevant interior trends, up and coming names and brands, innovative products and beautiful, contemporary design, and she has a strong affinity for design with an eco-edge. Amy has a particular penchant for bathrooms and in her own words "loves nothing more than a creative bathroom space".

Sarah Evans, Head of Channel Marketing at Hansgrohe UK joins the UK Bathrooms Design Awards judging panel. Sarah in now in her 17th year with Hansgrohe UK and is a Brand and Product Specialist for hansgrohe and AXOR. With prior experience at competitor brand Vola, Sarah has spent 20 years in the bathroom industry and has a wealth of industry knowledge from product design to trade and sales.

Darren Paxford the National Sales Manager for beautiful bathroom brand VitrA also joins the judging panel bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from more than 30 years in the bathroom industry. Darren said: "VitrA's quest is to create gorgeous, inspiring bathroom environments, and to change the perception of the bathroom from that of a purely functional space into something much more – I am excited to be part of the UK Bathrooms Design Awards and I will be particularly looking for innovation in the entrants approach across all of the categories."

The fourth judge is UK Bathrooms' Managing Director Graeme Borchard. Graeme's understanding of the bathroom and kitchen market is unsurpassed, his visionary leadership and strategic management skills have helped to secure the no 1 spot for the online premium designer bathroom store. The design awards judging panel will benefit from his experience in both commercial and consumer interiors, his background in project management, keen eye for design detail and his continuous pursuit of perfection.

The panel of judges will reach their decision on the award winners in June 2020.
