Royal BAM Group has been named as one of the leaders on climate change thanks to a prestigious list.

The firm featured on CDP's 'A List', which sees it ranked among the top 2% of corporate leaders on climate change.

The Climate Change A List is published by CDP each year, alongside the A Lists for leadership on protecting forests and water security. They name the world's businesses leading on environmental performance.

BAM was recognised for its actions to drive CO2 reductions, mitigate climate risks and develop a low-carbon economy, based on the data submitted by the Group via CDP's 2019 climate change questionnaire.

Rob van Wingerden, CEO of Royal BAM Group: "The inclusion in CDP's Climate Change A list is again a recognition of our efforts to reduce emissions and to achieve a net positive impact on environment and people in the long term by collaborating with construction partners and the supply chain, reducing CO2 emissions and realising the benefits of new sustainable business."
