Galliford Try Highways has cemented its commitment to diversity in the workplace with three prestigious awards.
The business was presented with the 'Construction Company' and 'Large Business' awards at the National Centre for Diversity (NCFD) Grand Awards. Duncan Elliott was named 'Managing Director of the Year'.
The event at the Hotel Ibis in Earls Court, London, on 16 January also saw Galliford Try Highways placed eleventh in the NCFD top 100 index - the highest position ever achieved by a construction company in the awards' four-year history.
These accolades come after the company achieved the Leaders in Diversity accreditation from the NCFD before Christmas.
Duncan Elliott, Managing Director for Galliford Try Highways, said: "We have made huge progress over the last 12 months in all areas of FREDIE and these awards are a tremendous recognition of the efforts made by our great team. We will continue to be committed to FREDIE and our journey to make our industry even better. This is only the beginning for us.
"FREDIE is about creating inclusive cultures, inspiring workplaces and diversifying our skills. We are truly embedding this approach. We have great people, great teams and a great business and I am immensely proud and privileged to be part of it."
