UK rental company GAP Hire Solutions has announced its ninth specialist division - Trenching & Shoring.

This decision comes after GAP strengthened its products fleet with the acquisition of Scottish-based trenching and shoring company, MV Trench Support earlier this year.

Trenching & Shoring, which was previously a 'sub-division' within the company's now 10-year-old Non-Mechanical division, will now serve as its own division. It will join Plant, Tools, Non-Mech, Lifting & TIC, Survey & Safety, Welfare, Events and Vehicle Hire as a specialist division.

On top of this, GAP is the sole distributor of EZE Shoring equipment in the UK which gives the new division a boost within the industry.

GAP's newest division's product range includes trench boxes, drag boxes, backhoe boxes, trench sheets, waler systems and edge protection and all the groundworks equipment is supplied with user guides and technical information.
