Homeless charity Caritas Anchor House has opened a newly refurbished lounge area at its site in London.
Contractor VolkerFitzpatrick was appointed to deliver the upgrades, working alongside CRASH Charity and its Patron companies to transform the area into a relaxed and vibrant environment that makes the residents feel at home.
Both companies were welcomed back to the site earlier this month to open the facility, which also marked World Mental Health Day and World Homeless Day.
John O'Grady, commercial director for VolkerFitzpatrick and CRASH Trustee, said: "What a fantastic transformation - it is hard to remember what the lounge even looked like before. I hope this place truly does raise the spirits of the people staying here."
Amanda Dubarry, CEO of Caritas Anchor House, added: "I am so proud of the VolkerFitzpatrick team and how they've managed to transform the place. I can't wait for the residents to start using this wonderful social space, they will absolutely love it."
