Kier has appointed Laing O'Rourke UK Building Director Liam Cummins to take over its construction business.
Liam Cummins will serve as Group Managing Director of Kier Construction, succeeding Peter Young who will be leaving the Group.
He will leave his post at Laing O'Rourke, a company he has spent 16 years with, bringing with him a wealth of experience in leading high profile projects to both public and private sector clients across the UK.
At Kier, Liam will lead the Construction business which spans the UK from Inverness to Truro delivering key projects including the P2 building at Kings Cross, the new home for US Air Force F-35 Fighter Jet at RAF Lakenheath and the Braintree town centre redevelopment.
