Timber Focus Moves Into DIY And Home Retail Sector

Specialist timber cladding provider, Timber Focus, has partnered with Homebase to bring its range of products to the UK DIY Home Improvement sector.

The popular SertiWOOD® premium timber cladding products can be used internally and externally and are now available to customers via direct deliveries throughout the UK and Ireland.

Timber Focus is a Partner of Puidukoda OU which belongs to the French owned Groupe Rose, one of Europe's Independent Largest cladding suppliers. Managed by experience timber product experts, the company is a member of TRADA and has members on the British Standards Timber Cladding Committee and has vast experience in supplying DIY Chains, including Merchant Buying Groups, with large volumes of machined profiles. The industry specialists are now looking to expand even further with a new partnership with Homebase, which will help them reach the popular DIY Home Improvement sector.

Customers will now be able to purchase Timber Focus' premium SertiWOOD® range direct from Homebase. Previously offered predominantly through specialist timber merchants, the SertiWOOD® range has been showcased at leading exhibitions such as Time Expo UK Construction Week and even featured in popular TV show Grand Designs.

Capable of being used in both internal and external construction, the SertiWOOD® Cladding range offers customers a wide choice of colours and tones, helping to cater for all types of deco or design; from Shabby Chic to Contemporary Modern. The factory finished and painted claddings also come with paint coating warranty for external applications.

Andrew Goto, Head of Sales for Timber Focus added: "It is an honour to be working with Homebase and we are really excited to be partnering with them. Thanks to our strength and depth of stockholding premium timber, we can fully commit ourselves to providing a high quality, unique and affordable range in a timely fashion.

"Our SertiWOOD Range of products work with most of the current DIY Chain visions such as Feel Good at Home and GoodHome which bring premium, pre-finished products to the market. This gives the customer more options and subsequently makes the consumers' experience of using products simpler. We see the SertiWOOD Cladding Product range as the future, particularly with mounting pressure concerning the conformity and sustainability issues surrounding the use of tropical hardwoods and plastic composites."

The full SertiWOOD® Range includes the following:

DragonWOOD

A durable black, charred burnt effect timber cladding that can be used internally and externally. A sustainable alternative to the Japanese burnt charred process, Dragonwood is low carbon, does not create dirt and is easy to clean. Maintenance is easy thanks to predictable performance and the exterior coating has a warranty of over ten years.

Rustic Range

Available in six colours, Smoke, Cappuccino, Denim, Mint, Cherry, Lemon, this range can be used for internal walls, ceilings, soffits and feature walls thanks to a fine textured surface and combination of colours and tones.

White Wax

For use internally for walls and ceilings the White Wax range gives a smooth white translucent finish including a white wash look.

SertiWOOD Viking Range

Predominantly an external cladding product, it has a brushed textured finish available in seven colours; two translucent (Grey Anthracite and Oak) and five opaque (Signal Blue, Swedish Red, Light Grey, Grey Beige and Oyster White). These products can be used for wall claddings both public and private including garden buildings.

SertiWOOD Canadian Western Red Cedar

This is premium Western Red Cedar sourced from the West Coast of Canada. It is suitable for cladding and fencing applications in Tongue and Groove boarding and also in slats for contemporary screen slatted fencing.

SertiWOOD Thermowood® Redwood Pine

This is available for cladding in a tongue and groove board profile. It is a golden brown colour and comes from FSC Certified Sources sourced from Scandinavia.

All of these products are available to order now from Homebase and for more information you can contact Timber Focus.
