Experienced construction professional Lee Priddle has joined Pick Everard as a new director.
He will take on the leadership role to oversee the cost management team in the West Midlands.
Based at the firm's Birmingham office in Snow Hill, Lee will be heading up the cost management team. He will also be supporting the growth of other service disciplines including project management, engineering and building surveying.
Lee said: "I'm looking forward to joining this relatively new and dynamic office. The construction industry in the West Midlands is booming and I'm excited to develop the cost consultancy offering in the region."
He continued: "This is a very exciting time to be joining the team in Birmingham as the city undergoes its biggest regeneration since the 1960s. It was announced at this year's MIPIM that £10bn of regeneration opportunities will be coming to the city and with our growing team, we're in a great position to build for the future.
"Pick Everard has already been involved with the city's redevelopment and will continue to support the delivery of successful future projects. The firm prides itself on the quality of its work, so maintaining and building on this will be one of my key responsibilities."
Andrew Seaman, national director at Pick Everard, commented: "Since moving to our larger premises, we have delivered work across the education and blue light sectors, as well as working on a number of public sector projects. We have also supported private sector clients in the delivery of major industrial developments, hotels and retail spaces – including the fourth floor redevelopment of Selfridges.
"We're delighted to have Lee on board, supporting our strong West Midlands portfolio – which is continuing to increase year-on-year. Expanding the Birmingham office has been a high priority in our strategy for growth. Lee's vast knowledge and contacts in the industry, across various sectors, will bolster our offering in the region."
