Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure has been recognised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The national firm has been shortlisted for two awards by Inclusive Companies, which recognise organisations who have a truly diverse workforce, and excel in their commitment to quality and inclusion across all strands of diversity.
They will compete in the Best Diversity Resource Award category for their diversity and inclusion strategy and HR director, Dawn Moore will look to win Head of Diversity & Inclusion.
A ceremony will take place on 28 November, where the company will also hear where they have been named in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list.
Simon Smith, managing director for Infrastructure said: "Our approach to diversity and inclusivity is something that has been a part of our strategy for a number of years and is unique in the construction and infrastructure industry. We are delighted to be recognised by Inclusive Companies for our approach.
"We are continually looking at creative ways to recruit new and under-represented groups into the business – from welcoming people back into the industry through a bespoke Returnships programme, to localised recruitment drives to meet the demands of the skills shortage, as well as a complete review of all policies to ensure that they are family-friendly and to help ensure that employees can achieve a positive work / life balance."
