Why Choose The U-Roof System?

Construction News Image
To put it simply, U-Roof improves build time, reduces waste, reduces costs, improves quality and adds more space.

Why?

Because architects, specifiers, contractors and self-builders have to meet increasing demands for shorter programme times, increase performance on site, conform to stringent building regulations and be ever-mindful of health, safety and environmental issues. U-Roof's unique modern method of construction has been designed with all of these needs in mind.

Why?

Because the system comfortably caters for a variety of roof design options including flat-to-pitch conversions and raised eaves applications to enable greater usable floor space. Adding dormers or additional storeys to existing building in the future is not a problem as no additional costly structural work should be required. Rafter removal can be treated in the same way as traditional timber – one out – one in.

Why?

Typically a 100 m² "Room in the Roof" can be rolled in under one hour and installed within four to five hours. A typical project includes ALL floor joists, ceiling panels, cheek wall support panels and roof panels which can incorporate openings for skylights & dormers – whether they be our own dormer "skeletons", timber or GRP variants. Additionally, gable walls & internal partitioning is also available.

Why?

Because U-Roof can provide a "One Stop Shop" providing the full frame and can offer various packages to suit differing budgets or level of skill of the installer. We can deliver to site on a supply only basis or can supply and fit – with "supply & fit shell only" options through to "supply, fit & insulate" packages – ready for the construction of the outer leaf or skin to take place by yourself or appointed builder.

Why?

The system is comparable in price with traditional roof types but is much lighter, stronger, will not warp, twist, shrink or crack and is impervious to moisture and insect attack and takes no special skills to install.
