Construction News Image

Bolt Cracker -

This simple system clips on to the bolt head for bolt boxes and gives free movement of the holding down bolt - simply clip on and pour, no more turning bolts - just pour the concrete. Great for you and even better for the Steel Erectors.

Our new product range includes:

A.S Expansion -

The New A.S Expansion comprises numerous innovations to make up an Expansion system like no other.

With the A.S Expansion you get the full package. The system arrives on site with the expansion foam and stud connectors for the dowel bars ready assembled, along with a fixing kit providing all the components required.

The New Acradeck System -

Composite steel deck slabs have seen many problems in the past, from overloading beyond design limits, ponding and at worse collapse. The Concrete Society TR75 report states that suspending slabs should be poured to a constant thickness and not datum.

The Acradeck system cannot stop deflection, but it can provide a constant thickness. The new Acradeck design locks tightly into position with the aid of a wedge and adjusts to cover numerous decking profiles.

Recent projects have reported excellent finish results, by applying calculations to compensate for deflection and then precisely applying those calculations by using the Acradeck system.

The New Acra Screed Blinding Plate -

In the past we have been asked many times for a screed rail system for blinding. This simple system answers that request.

The diameter of the pre galvanised ground plate is equal to or greater than the depth of the blinding being poured to give it stability.

Having an accurate blinding layer transfers through into the rest of the project saving time and increasing efficiency and quality throughout.
