Developer Godwin is set to deliver 60 new build-to-rent (BTR) homes in Doncaster.
The company's investment firm, Godwin Capital acquired the site in Watch House Lane to deliver the new properties.
The homes will consist of two and three bedroom houses specifically for the rental market.
Godwin Capital's group investment director, Andrew Mitchell believes this project will bring "much-needed housing stock" to the area in the midst of a housing shortage crisis across the UK.
He added: "It will be our first investment in Doncaster delivering quality family homes specifically for rent.
"We are keen to engage with companies and land owners who are seeking joint venture opportunities, bringing together our investment expertise and third party development sites."
