A Morgan Sindall project in Devon has secured a prize at the South West regional Local Authority Building Control (LABC) awards.
The firm delivered the refurbished and extended accident and emergency wing of North Devon District Hospital last year.
David Wilson Partnership Ltd, Gates Construction Consultants, David Bearman Chartered Structural Engineer and Pivotal Design & Consultancy Ltd also worked on the project.
The newly refurbished wing won Best Public Service Building at the regional awards and will now go on to compete in the national awards, which will be held in November.
Nigel Whelan, area director at Morgan Sindall Construction, said: "We are delighted to have played a part in the delivery of this key project for the North Devon Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a brilliant facility which will help to save lives and we are so proud to have been part of the innovative project team which constructed and refurbished the new A&E wing."
