More than 120 climate change experts and business leaders have signed a letter to Prime Minister Theresa May calling for the UK to cut all carbon emissions by 2050.
This follows a recommendation from the Committee on Climate Change for the government to set this zero-carbon target in UK law.
Construction firm Multiplex is the latest to sign the letter, supporting its public commitment to go beyond net-zero and create a positive impact on the environment through work with the Science Based Targets initiative.
