Kier has secured a place on the £500 million North Wales Construction Framework 2.

The firm has been named on the high value Lot 5, which will involve delivering projects valued more than £10m with an estimated value of £108m.

The four-year framework places community benefits at its core by developing local supply chains, improving the built environment, creating sustainable buildings and delivering added value with targeted investment in employment, apprenticeships and training. It is owned by the six North Wales Local Authorities of Denbighshire, Conwy, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Anglesey.

Peter Commins, managing director at Kier, commented: "We are thrilled to have won a place on Lot 5 of the North Wales Construction Framework 2. Since its inception the North Wales Construction Framework partnership has performed brilliantly by working collaboratively to deliver a number of key projects in the area.
