ISG Shortlisted At North West Property Awards

ISG's £13 million transformation of Manchester Corn Exchange has been shortlisted at the North West Property Awards.

The firm led a refurbishment project which saw the Corn Exchange developed into a 114-bedroom, four-star boutique aparthotel for operators Roomzzz.

The project will now compete for Commercial Refurbishment of the Year at the prestigious awards ceremony.

Working alongside architects 5Plus, the team worked to uncover the Grade-II listed building's former grandeur, completing the project on time and budget for the client, Aviva Investment Property Trust, and developer, Queensbury Real Estate.

Dating back to 1903, the Corn Exchange sits in one of the busiest shopping areas in Manchester with 13 live brands on the ground floor.

Given its location and proximity to the Metrolink, lean project management, community engagement and comprehensive logistics planning was paramount to the project's success.

The North West Property Awards will take place on Thursday 16 May at Manchester Central.
