ISG has secured a number of accolades at this year's Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards.

The awards recognise those sites that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction.

The firm's UK Fit Out, UK Construction and Engineering Services businesses won 12 awards: one Gold, three silver and eight Bronze.

On the gold-award winning Wynyard C of E School scheme, the assessor said: "For a relatively small contract, this site is meeting all of the aims and objectives embodied in the scheme's code of considerate practice.

"The site looks amazingly well, and the finished product will be a credit to all associated with it.

"The team are going out of their way to not only harmonise with the neighbours; but are heavily involved with the children for whom the school is being built, and the local community – terrific!

"Regarding the workforce, it is good to see that mental health awareness is moving towards the top of the list in terms of workforce welfare.

"This site is brilliant, and I would particularly like to thank the team for a very interesting and informative morning."

The company's other award-winning sites are scattered across the UK in London, Manchester, Bristol and Cardiff.
