M5 Oldbury Viaduct Team Recognised At Highways England Awards

The construction team behind work on the M5 Oldbury Viaduct have been recognised in two different categories at the Highways England Awards.

bmv, a BAM Nuttall, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and VolkerFitzpatrick joint venture, won in the 'Excellence in occupational health and wellbeing' and 'Leading in efficiencies and continuous improvement' categories.

The joint venture is currently delivering major concrete repair and waterproofing work on the M5 Oldbury Viaduct, between junctions one and two.

The awards recognise the skill, ingenuity and performance of individuals and teams who have helped to progress the Road Investment Strategy over the past 12 months.

Adam Bunce, project manager for bmv said: "These awards continue to recognise the good work being undertaken by the whole team here at M5 Oldbury Viaduct, as we move towards completion of the northbound carriageway and onto the central reserve works.”

The awards were presented at The Vox, Birmingham on Thursday 28 March.
