Tottenham Hotspur have announced that their new stadium will officially open next month after a string of delays.

The new ground will host a Premier League match at the the beginning of April.

If Brighton win their FA Cup quarter-final match, Tottenham will play Crystal Palace on Wednesday 03 April.

If Brighton lose, the two teams will face each other at the new stadium on 06/07 April (subject to Champions League scheduling).

The club is also hosting two Test Event Matches later this month in order to achieve a formal safety certificate for fixtures to be held at the new stadium.

Around 30,000 are expected to attend a U18 Premier League against Southampton on Sunday 24 March, with a increased capacity of 45,000 planned for a Tottenham Legends match on Saturday 30 March.

Both events will see seats allocated in all stands in order to effectively test all areas.
