A-Plant has been recognised as the 'Access Rental Company of the Year' at a prestigious international awards ceremony.
The UK equipment hire company won the accolade at the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA) in Dubai on 06 March.
The annual awards, organised by Access International and IPAF, celebrate best practice and excellence in the powered access industry.
The award win recognises A-Plant's ability to demonstrate exceptional financial performance, innovation, training, marketing of access rental services, customer service and raising awareness of safety.
Ian Jordan, Managing Director of A-Plant's General Equipment Division, said: "2018 was an exceptional year for A-Plant and we are thrilled that all of our hard work has been recognised at one of the industry’s most prestigious awards.
"Over the past 12 months A-Plant has experienced phenomenal growth and the company's powered access fleet has increased to over 4,500 machines.
"Furthermore, this year A-Plant instructors have delivered working at height training to over 2,000 customers, both at A-Plant Training Centres of Excellence and customer sites.
"We are also proud to have developed and launched a new fleet management system, Trackunit Access Control, to prevent unauthorised equipment usage, reduce costs, drive efficiency and improve safety across multiple sites."
A-Plant was also shortlisted in the IPAF Training Centre of the Year category.
