Hymo Expand Mast-Driven Lift Range

Construction News Image
Industrial lifting specialist SLG Group UK has further expanded the Hymo range of mast-driven lifts (MDLs) for industrial applications, with a new model providing safe, vibration-free lifting for loads of up to 1500kg.

The MDL 015350-1S boasts a loading surface of 1650 x 1200mm, with total travel of 3500mm. It is fully compliant with EN 1570-1 or Machine Directive 2006/42/EC, depending on the application.

Transport and installation are simple – no crane or special vehicles are needed, while modular parts enable easy transportation of the MDL to its working location. No pit is required and, with all fixing via bolts and screws, the system can be installed by a two-person team within a single day without any welding. Standard features include a safety enclosure, door guard locking and emergency buttons. The system also features overload protection and a cylinder safety valve for secure positioning.

The system is designed for easy service and maintenance. Standard parts are available ex-stock, while a comprehensive service contract is available, with annual inspections by SLG’s expert team. This includes full risk and safety analyses with testing and servicing of all parts.

Robert Isaacson of SLG Group UK commented: "The Hymo family of MDLs has been making the vertical transportation of goods safer and more efficient for many years. The new system opens up numerous opportunities for elevator companies, integrators and contractors. It enables pallets and trucks to be carried easily, offering premium performance and reliability across many demanding applications."
