Crest Nicholson Appoints New Finance Director

British housebuilder Crest Nicholson has appointed Duncan Cooper as its new Group Finance Director.

Duncan, a chartered accountant, joins from J Sainsbury where he recently served as Director of Group Finance.

He will replace Robert Allen who left the business in October 2018.

Stephen Stone, chairman of Crest Nicholson, commented: "We are delighted to be welcoming Duncan onto our Board and are confident that he will be a key contributor to our business, bringing a range of senior finance, investor and operational experience as we continue to embed our strategy of prioritising cashflow and dividends, maximising value in the portfolio, and improving operational efficiency."

Duncan will take up the position on 17 June 2019.
