The East Stand has been transformed at Twickenham thanks to a multi-million pound redevelopment project.
The stand now offers six levels of contemporary hospitality and event space, providing an extension to the current hospitality and conferencing facilities.
Mace delivered the work along with building envelope contractor Prater.
SIDEWISE also provided support on the project with a comprehensive range of vertical and horizontal cavity barriers and fire stops to maintain continuity of fire resistance between the floor slab and the external façade.
As part of the façade design and to enhance the fire safety of the new East Stand, SIDERISE recommended using their CW-FS Curtain Wall Fire Stop System with acoustic upgrades along with the SIDERISE RH 'Open State' horizontal and RV vertical cavity barriers.
Prater also utilised an Inspection and Reporting App from SIDERISE to record and assess the quality of the installation of all of the company's standard firestop, cavity barrier and acoustic barrier systems.
