Essential repair works have been scheduled for two bridges in Hull.
North Bridge and Sutton Road Bridge will both be closed over the next couple weeks to allow the surface bridge deck to be repaired.
Sutton Road Bridge will be closed to vehicles from 6am-7pm on Wednesday 09 January. A signed diversion route will be implemented via Beverley Road, Clough Road, Stoneferry Road, and West Carr Lane.
North Bridge will also be closed from 6am on Tuesday 15 January, until 6am on Monday 21 January, with a diversion route in place via Drypool Bridge.
Pedestrians and cyclists will still have access to both bridges.
Councillor Anita Harrison, portfolio holder for highways, said: "We are revisiting both bridges to complete the resurfacing of the bridge decks. This is essential to ensure its longevity, and we apologise in advance to any disruption it causes to motorists."
