Wates Construction is celebrating its third successive appointment to the North West Construction Hub (NWCH) High Value Framework.
The framework, which aims to improve efficiencies, will see contractors deliver construction projects in markets including education, health, retail and leisure.
Following its appointments in 2010 and 2014, Wates has secured a place on two lots under the new generation framework.
The contractor has been named on Lot 1 for projects valued between £8m and £15m and Lot 3 for projects valued at £35m and over.
Paul Dodsworth, Managing Director of Wates Construction North, commented: "Since being established in 2009, the North West Construction Hub has not only facilitated the efficient procurement of almost 400 public sector projects but it has also cultivated a collaborative forum through which best practice can be shared.
"We are extremely proud to have been a NWCH contracting partner from day one and our appointment to the new High Value Framework is an acknowledgement of our ability to constantly evolve the service we provide for our clients, as well as the values we share with the North West Construction Hub.
"A big part of this is our commitment to creating extensive and sustainable social value opportunities through our projects. Last year this included our work with Stockport Council at Redrock, through which we supported 37 apprentices and carried out a series of education programmes with Stockport College and University of Salford. We very much look forward to building on this fantastic work."
