Eurovia Infrastructure has progressed work on the improvements for Derby's Chaddesden Lane.
The scheme will upgrade 1,100sqm of road, and include the installation of roadside boards.
Following a drainage investigation and ground radar survey in January, construction work will commence on the section between Maine Drive and Reginald Road South on 11 February.
Road closures will be in place from 16-24 February and 11-28 April. Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted.
Further work will also take place outside these dates on Maine Drive to build a new drain which will connect to the culvert underneath Chaddesden Lane.
The project is being carried out on behalf of Derby City Council.
