Wates Moves To New Premises In Leeds

Wates Construction has left its former office at Leeds Valley Park to move into a new premises at Paradigm in Thorpe Park.

The strategic move forms part of the company's efforts to grow its project portfolio in Yorkshire and the North East in 2019.

A total of 45 Wates employees will occupy the 10,275 sq ft of space across the building's entire first floor, with additional room to accommodate potential business growth.

Paul Dodsworth, Regional Managing Director of Wates Construction North, said: "2018 has been a fantastic year for Wates, with our highlights including the start of construction on the latest phase of MEPC's Wellington Place and the handover of two fantastic schools projects, Copley Primary and Moorside Community Primary on behalf of Calderdale Council, to name just a few.

"It is a really exciting time for us as we take up occupancy of our new office at Thorpe Park, which gives us a great base to build upon our exceptional work across the region as we move into the New Year. Space Invaders interior design team were given a brief to create a contemporary but comfortable office, where the team can thrive. The result is a dynamic office space, complete with hot-desking facilities, training rooms and break out spaces, that is future-proofed for expansion."
