Former Network Rail Director Joins Balfour Beatty

Former Network Rail director Matthew Steele has joined Balfour Beatty's Gas & Water business as the new Managing Director.

Matthew held the position of Commercial and Development Director at Network Rail, as well as previous senior roles with Crossrail and the London Underground.

He brings over 19 years' experience providing strategic direction to large cross-industry and multi-discipline teams to the new role. Matthew is also a chartered Mechanical Engineer with a deep knowledge of the UK infrastructure market.
