Sussex builders' merchant D.W. Nye has commenced construction work on its major new facilities.
A new warehouse and office facility will be built to expand the company's offerings and cater to its growing customer base.
The steel framed structure will provide 1000m2 of warehouse space, more than doubling the size of the D.W. Nye's existing facility.
The business levelled sections of its storage area to make way for the new facilities.
Rex Nye, Managing Director at D.W. Nye, said: "Our expansion reflects the growing success of the business and the continued support from our loyal customers who rely on us to supply a vast range of materials and tools for their projects, from stone paving to timber. This is an important step in our 30-year history, and represents one of the biggest developments of our depot since we first opened our doors all those years ago."
The new premises is due to be completed in spring 2019.
