Clerk of Works consultancy Gage-Tupper & Associates is celebrating its 21st anniversary.
Twenty-five years ago, Gage Management Group Ltd was established in 1993 by Michael J Gage to incorporate John D Tupper & Associates Ltd and John D Tupper & Associates (Europe) Ltd to provide a comprehensive Clerk of Works service offering either a full-time resident or part-time visiting service for all types of work, including Building, Civil Engineering and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Michael J Gage was a previous Director of these Companies and retained the original concept, aims and structure of the business.
On 02 May 1997, the Company re-located to new offices in Evesham, Worcestershire, and in association with this re-location, took the opportunity to re-organise and re-name the companies within the group. John D Tupper & Associates (Europe) Limited was re-named Gage-Tupper & Associates Limited with the intention that future commissions would be carried out by this Company.
Gage-Tupper has become one of the top Clerk of Works consultancys in the country and generates over 80% of its works from repeat clients. They currently have between 20 to 30 Clerks of Works of mixed discipline engaged on a variety of projects for both the Public and Private Sector throughout the United Kingdom.
"It has been a great journey so far, but there is still more to come," added Mike Gage, Company Chairman.
The management structure of the company is now in to its third family generation, with Mike's three children employed in the company and Mike's grandson working within the ranks. This approach will help to ensure the company continues on its journey for many years to come, and continues to strive forward in order to become even more effective, find more effective ways to aligning all parties on a project and help better serve the client. With a solid foundation beneath them, Gage-Tupper aims to continue to make every effort to exceed client expectations and more.
