SES Engineering Services (SES) has completed work on a new 770-bed student accommodation scheme at Coventry University.

The engineering specialist delivered a £9.6 million mechanical and engineering (M&E) contract across five residential blocks.

The work included heating, ventilation, domestic water services, drainage, electrical systems, fire safety, security and energy-efficient lighting and heating controls.

SES worked alongside main contractor Galliford Try to complete its contract, as part of the £47.5 million development.

The latest Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology was also utilised during the project.
