Multidisciplinary design and engineering company, BakerHicks has expanded its business development with a new appointment.
John Lawton will serve as the company's Business Development Director, supporting the growth of the business across its key sectors.
In his new role, John will specifically support the company's business development and management teams in implementing their respective sales and marketing strategies within the Aviation, Defence, Life Sciences & Manufacturing, Nuclear, Power, Public Sector and Rail industries across the UK and the D-A-CH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region.
John brings significant experience to the role, successfully running operational and sales teams in Europe, Ireland and Asia Pacific, most recently for Jacobs, where he spent more than 20 years of his 30 year career in a number of roles, latterly as Vice President of Strategy.
The Chartered Electrical Engineer is also a member of the Institution of Engineering Technology (IET).
