SP Energy Networks, with its service partner DT Hughes, is carrying out work to upgrade power cables in Liverpool.
The work is being carried out along Hanover Street, from the Junction of Gradwell Street and Paradise Street.
The project will renew six existing 11,000 volt circuits that support Liverpool city centre, reinforcing the security of electricity supplies for local homes and businesses.
The scheme has been scheduled following discussions with Liverpool City Council and Liverpool One, to ensure it did not clash with other work in the city.
The work will involve a one way road system on Hanover Street between Gradwell Street and Paradise Street starting on Saturday, 20 October for approximately one week.
A signed diversion will be in place during the works.
