All About Mirka Ceros Sanders

Here at CXS Tools, we are proud to present another product range available for purchase right here on our website. It’s a model within the Mirka range, one of the leading brands in the construction industry when it comes to professional sanding finishes on construction projects. With a power input of 350 watts and a speed between 4,000 and 10,000 rpm, this reasonably light weight product packs a mighty punch! It’s perfect for those precision finishes on profiles and hard-to-reach parts of a project. Today, we are going to talk you through some of the latest and brightest features that the Mirka Ceros sander brings to the table, and why we think it’s the perfect product for you to add to your sanding collection.

Compact, Lightweight, Ergonomic

The Mirka Ceros is a lightweight, compact product; it weighs up to 920 grams, has a pad size of 125 mm or 150mm diameter (smaller sanders are available) and has a powerful DC Motor; the Ceros Sander fits beautifully in the hand due to the shaping and contouring of the product’s body at a manufacturing level. It comes with a comfort grip that makes sanding comfortable and pleasurable rather than painful and abrasive to the hands. The Mirka Ceros' low profile makes it easily manoeuvrable and easy to control, keeping your sanding quality consistent throughout your finishing work. With the motor being a low voltage dc motor, this adds safety when working in exposed areas. The Ceros Sander comes with a AC/DC converter, which is why the Ceros can be so lightweight and yet so powerful, as a VDC motor weighs less and is much more efficient for the job.

Brushless

The Mirka Ceros sander uses highly efficient brushless sanding technology in order to get a quick but even and consistent finish to your work. One of the many benefits of using brushless technology is that it makes the sander less prone to wear and tear as you go about your work and, without brushes, the sander has less parts that can be prone to wearing out and friction, meaning you get your value for money with this piece of equipment that will need less repairs and replacements as it is less prone to breaking down, whilst also giving you a seamless sanding finish across your project.

Dust-Free Sander

It is almost impossible to say the name Mirka without also talking about the dust free sanding their company has introduced, revolutionising the industry in the process. The Mirka Ceros sander is suitable for Mirka Abranet abrasives, which allow dust to be drawn through the pad and the sander when attached to an extractor; this means that you can sand in a clean and clear environment, rather than clogging up both the sanding pad and your line of sight as you work. What’s more, the positive impact on your health can be astounding, as very little dust is expelled that can be inhaled, reducing problems with breathing in irritants into the lungs as you work.

Versatility

The Mirka Ceros models can be used with a multitude of extractors, across a range of materials that come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. What the Mirka Ceros sander offers is a compact machine that can be used for a prolonged period of time without a reduction in work quality, whilst being able to do refined and close work as you aim to achieve a smooth and consistent sanding finish. Having the ability to use the Mirka Ceros with this much variety and scope means you truly get your money’s worth when you buy the product.
