A-Plant has been recognised at the National Apprenticeship Awards with a high commendation in the 'Regional Employer of the Year' category.
The awards, which are now in their 15th year, celebrate outstanding apprentices, employers and individuals who go above and beyond to champion apprenticeships across England.
A-Plant's Head of Training, Bob Harper, said: "We are delighted to have been highly commended at the prestigious awards for the second year in a row.
"Apprentices are a vital part of A-Plant's future and this latest acknowledgement is testament to the company's commitment to training the next generation of future leaders.
"Last year we invested more than £2m in our apprenticeship programme and we currently have over 150 apprentices in all areas from engineering and customer service to plant maintenance and driving.
"Apprentices bring fresh eyes to the workplace and create a healthy and dynamic environment for the whole team. That is why we offered all of this year's 59 graduating apprentices permanent employment with the company.
"We're extremely proud that our apprenticeship scheme has become much sought after and widely recognised across the industries we operate in."
A-Plant's commendation was announced during an awards ceremony at Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel, organised by the National Apprenticeship Services.
