National trade body The Property Care Association is to host its third annual International Structural Waterproofing conference, immersing delegates into the experience with the latest technology.
The conference will feature insight into high-profile projects underground, technical details and an overview of liabilities and responsibilities.
The event takes place at The Slate, University of Warwick, Coventry on 13 September. Final places are now being booked.
Speakers include representatives from Building Design Partnership, ASUC and NHBC.
It will feature interactive technology like the mobile-based system, which offers a range of features including instant messaging between attendees and live questioning methods.
Steve Hodgson, Chief Executive of the PCA, said: "Our conference programme has gone from strength-to-strength over the years, and we are constantly looking to ways to ensure we offer delegates an educational and inspiring experience.”"
The new technology has been introduced for the event with support from Advanced Preservations, Delta Membrane Systems, Fosroc, MJ Rooney Construction, Newton Waterproofing Systems, Sika and Timberwise UK.
Conferences are a major part of the PCA's activity, with an annual programme targeted at the different sectors represented by the Association including invasive non-native species, and air quality and building preservation, as well as structural waterproofing.
Held throughout summer and autumn, the events are all designed to appeal to members and a wider audience alike.
