The national property consultancy Naismiths has strengthened its presence in the Midlands with the appointment of a new lead consultant to its Building Surveying team.
Neil Keating, formerly Director at retail developer Realis Estates, will be driving the firm's expansion in the region from the company's Birmingham headquarters.
Neil brings with him more than a decade of experience, as Naismiths continues to attract the best talent from across the Midlands and northern England.
He will be joined in Naismiths' Birmingham headquarters by Jack Edwards, who has been promoted to Building Surveyor. Jack has been with the Birmingham team since May 2016 and possesses an exceptional track record, which includes launching his own Formula 1 precision engineering firm in 2006.
Both Neil and Jack will help develop the Midlands Building Surveying team to complement and enhance Naismiths' growing national team, and to serve the burgeoning Midlands market.
The firm currently oversees more than £2bn of development funding on behalf of institutional investors and finance providers. The company offers a full suite of surveying and project management services across the whole asset lifecycle.
Gareth Belsham, National Head of Building Surveying at Naismiths, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Neil aboard as the company continues to go from strength to strength. His wealth of experience will bring the leadership and insight needed to bolster our ever-expanding operation in Birmingham and the Midlands.
"Naismiths' success is not only a product of the talent we continue to actively seek out, but also the expertise of those who are already part of our team. Jack joined us two years ago, having already proved himself as an analytical, methodical and ambitious member of the team, whose drive to set up his own precision engineering company in the past speaks for itself.
"With their combined skills and knowledge of the market, Neil and Jack will drive the team forward to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans."
