More than 100 new 'affordable' homes are to be built near Mildenhall, Suffolk.
Clarion Housing has acquired a 10-acre site on Aspal Lane in Beck Row and will work with Lovell to build 115 new houses on the land in a £24 million development.
The new homes will include a range of properties, from -bedroom flats and bungalows through to four-bedroom family houses.
Philip Browne, New Business and Partnerships Director for Clarion Housing Group, said: "We are pleased to be working with Lovell to deliver much-needed new housing for Suffolk.
"At Clarion we aim to deliver 50,000 new homes nationwide over ten years, two-thirds of which will be affordable. Thanks to our financial strength, we have been able to acquire this site and ensure that all of the homes being delivered at this scheme are affordable."
Lovell Regional Managing Director, Simon Medler, said: "We're excited to be joining forces with Clarion Housing to deliver this high-quality scheme which will significantly boost the number of affordable homes in the area. The Beck Row development is set to extend the range of affordable options for the local community, both by helping people into home ownership and by creating new rented homes."
Completion is scheduled for late 2020.
