Aspin has appointed Costain's former Director of Rail, Gren Edwards, as the Group's new Chairman.
With nearly 40 years' industry experience, Mr Edwards spent seven years at Costain until December of last year. Beforehand, he spent two years as Chief Executive of Volker Rail which was formed following VolkerWessels' acquisition of Grant Rail where Mr Edwards spent 12 years, most recently as Chief Executive Officer.
Over the past few months, Aspin has further strengthened its executive team with a number of other senior appointments. Former Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Iain Sale has joined the company, while Paul Oyekanmi has been appointed as Commercial Director following nearly four years with Skanska UK in the same role. Elsewhere, Scott Harrison has joined as Group Development Director from SPX Flow, while Paul Hughes has been appointed as Group Head of HSEQ.
