More than 150 new homes are to be built near Lincoln in the East Midlands.
Jackson Living, part of Jackson & Jackson Developments, have started work on the £30 million 'The Parklands' scheme, which will see 155 new residential properties delivered across a 46.7-acre site slightly north of Lincoln.
Once finished, the project will feature outdoor open spaces, woodland footpaths, a restaurant, kitchen garden, community allotments and an outdoor gym. The build programme of the scheme is being delivered by local construction consultancy, LGG Projects.
Dominik Jackson, Director at Jackson & Jackson Developments, said: "The Parklands will offer not only a stunning place to live, but also a real sense of community for its residents in a beautiful woodland environment. It is a world away from the traditional images of a housing estate; this is a new generation of bespoke housing which will promote and enrich village life.
"Myself and the whole team have spent many months carefully planning and designing every aspect of The Parklands to bring to life a wonderful, peaceful place to live while enhancing the incredible setting.
"As with other Jackson Living schemes, The Parklands is being delivered by a local team of contractors and, once complete, it will have provided more than 100 new jobs for the local community.
"Thank you to all those who joined us for the turf cutting ceremony, it's wonderful so have so much support and to officially mark the start of creating The Parklands."
Paul Jakuc, from LGG Projects, said: "It's a privilege to be working with Jackson Living on The Parklands. We have been planning this development for so long to ensure we get it just right and it's wonderful to see the progress made so far."
