More than 90 new 'affordable' homes are to be built in Wandsworth, London.
Wates Residential has won two new contracts to build 92 houses in the borough by spring 2020.
The Shuttleworth Road development will see 71 homes for social rent built as part of the wider Winstanley and York Road Estates regeneration programme. Work started in June and will include new car parking facilities and landscaping.
Elsewhere, Wates is developing the 21 new homes as part of the Stag Lane scheme. The project, which is due to start in August, will include eight new homes for low cost rent and 13 which will be adapted to support some of the borough's more vulnerable residents with physical and learning difficulties to live independently.
Paul Nicholls, Managing Director of Wates Residential South, said: "We are looking forward to delivering these much-needed affordable homes for local people and building on our excellent relationship with the London Borough of Wandsworth."
