BAM To Carry Out Site Prep Works For New College Bradford

BAM Construction has been appointed to carry out pre-construction services for a new £19 million sixth form college in Bradford.

The five-storey New College Bradford facility is being built on Nelson Street and is scheduled to open in September next year.

Under a pre-construction services agreement, BAM will finalise the design and obtain planning approval, which is expected at the end of August. Work will commence shortly in advance of full contract award.

John Scahill, Pre-Construction Manager at BAM, said: "We are using the same design team behind our previous scheme for the Trust, and we have well-established strong working relationships in place with all the partners to create these vibrant new facilities. This is an excellent basis to work from."
