Willmott Dixon has been appointed to build a new £7.7 million retail park scheme in Doncaster.

The Herten Triangle development will comprise of five restaurants and three drive-through units in the town, featuring a host of retailers including Costa, TGI Fridays, Taco Bell, Burger King and Dunkin Donuts.

Procured through Scape Group's Major Works framework, Willmott Dixon is working with DLG Architects and Rex Procter & Partners as project manager on the scheme and completion is scheduled for spring 2019.

Elsewhere, the council's housing arm St Leger Homes has awarded the firm a contract to build 41 units in Conisbrough and 25 homes on Warde Avenue in Balby. The scheme will be delivered through a partnership between Doncaster Council, St Leger Homes, Homes England and Willmott Dixon. Completion is scheduled for summer 2019.
