More than 2,400 former Carillion roles have been made redundant since the firm's collapse.
A spokesperson for the Official Receiver (OR) confirmed today, 02 July, that despite a further 14 employees being transferred to new suppliers, 28 staff members will be leaving the business, taking the number of jobs which have been made redundant to 2,403.
To date, 12,338 jobs have been saved, representing 68% of the pre-liquidation workforce.
An OR spokesperson said: "A further 14 employees have transferred to new suppliers over the past week and regrettably 28 staff will be leaving the business later this week. Jobcentre Plus' RapidResponse Service will provide them with every support to find new work.
"I would like to thank all staff for the professionalism they have shown throughout the liquidation."
