Wates is targeting new growth across the North East region by relocating to new premises in Durham.
The company said it will move from its current office at Maple House in Darlington to Shannon House at Belmont Business Park to maximise connectivity within the region and ensure optimum delivery for clients across the North East.
Paul Dodsworth, Business Unit Director, Wates Construction North East and Yorkshire, said: "It is an extremely exciting time for the business as we prepare to take occupancy of our new Durham office in June. Wates has always prided itself on providing an efficient, well connected and accessible service for all of its clients and positioning ourselves at the geographical heart of the North East is integral to this."
Mr Dodsworth added the move is about "much more than servicing our current project portfolio".
"There is great potential in the North East market and our strategy is centred around maximising emerging opportunities, doing so while playing our part in boosting employment for all corners of the region," he said.
