Contractor R&M Williams has completed work on a new £2.3 million healthcare facility in Swansea.
The Mayhill GP Surgery, which is Wales' first fully integrated family centre and GP surgery, was officially opened earlier this month.
Developed in partnership with health and social care specialist Ashley House, features include a new Family Surgery, GP Centre and Chemist facility, alongside a wealth of community services.
The building also contains a time capsule including artefacts from the original family centre, as well as more up to date items including a local newspaper and artwork from local children.
Darryn Parry, Managing Director of R&M Williams, said: "We received a great deal of community support during our time on site here, and are delighted to have been able in return to develop a state-of-the-art complex within the allotted timeframe, and to the highest of standards.
"As the first fully integrated family centre and GP surgery in Wales, the project for us as contractors has also been a particularly interesting and exciting project to work on, and one which we feel privileged to have been a part of."
Julie Hayes, Mayhill GP Surgery Manager, said: "R&M Williams' quality of work at our new surgery building is of a very high standard. R&M Williams went over and above to help us during our stressful transition moving from a very old converted house to our new flagship surgery.
"Our GPs and staff are very happy with the result after a very long planning period we have a tremendous new state of the art surgery."
