Law firm TLT has secured its third land acquisition in four months at Tuffley in Gloucester.
The Bristol-based firm has acquired a residential site for Persimmon Homes which has planning permission for 250 units.
TLT provided end to end support to the Severn Valley division at Persimmon, from due diligence through to negotiation and completion including co-ordinating with the other parties.
Cheryl Brady, associate at TLT, said: "This is a significant acquisition, particularly in light of the government's house building targets and rallying cry for more house building to meet increasing demand for affordable, suitable living for the whole population.
"The South West market continues to be active, with many house builders setting ambitious targets themselves to help meet this rising demand."
A spokesperson at Persimmon said: "We are pleased to have secured such a significant site, which supports our near- and long-term plans to deliver suitable homes for people across the UK. The South West is such an exciting region, with so many opportunities for people to live, work and visit and this is having a demonstrable impact on housing demand.
"We are grateful to TLT for their expert advice and high quality of service across these most recent acquisitions, from instruction through to completion."
TLT's other land acquisitions were in Calne in Wiltshire and Keynsham in Somerset.
