Buy-and-build construction materials group, SigmaRoc, has struck a deal with Tarmac for the manufacture, distribution and installation of its Shuttabloc system.

Developed by SigmaRoc's subsidiary Poundfield Products, the Shuttabloc is precast retaining wall with internal reinforcing system. With applications in the industrial, agricultural and infrastructure sectors, the system is patent protected.

SigmaRoc's said its partnership with Tarmac is an important next step in the development of Poundfield products. Tarmac will lead the commercialisation, production and installation of the Shuttabloc system with initial technical and advisory support from SigmaRoc and Poundfield.
